Heart Cards Game

Take a deck of playing cards and separate out the hearts and another suite - I use diamonds, but it doesn't matter.

During your party, when you are ready to talk about the consultant opportunity, take out the heart cards. Tell the guests that instead of you telling them about the opportunity, you are going to let them ask questions about it. Every time someone asks a question, they will get a card. (You can tell them you are using the hearts because you LOVE what you do.) Answer the question, and then take another. When there are no more questions or you run out of cards, move on with your presentation. Tell the guests to hold on to their cards.

Later, tell the guests to get out their cards. Have a few small prizes out in front of you. Here is where you get out your other suite. Start pulling out one card at a time. "Who has the Queen?" That person (if there is one) may come and choose one of the prizes that is in front of you. Pick another card. Whoever has that cooresponding card may either pick from the prizes left in front of you, or take the 1st person's prize. This continues until you run out of cards.

My guests have always loved this game. You should see these grown ladies snatching away each other's gifts! I love it b/c it give me the opportunity to share the consultant opportunity without being pushy because THEY are asking ME!

TV Memory Game

Pass out paper and pens. Ask your guests to make a slash on their paper every time they hear the name of a TV show.
You all know [Who's The Boss] when determining if the [Price is Right]. Now don't be a [Wise guy]. I'm not out here [Moonlighting], just to hear about your [Family Ties]. I know that some of you are [Designing Women] and others are [Golden Girls], but we all have [One Life to Live], and for me this is my [Tour of Duty]. I'm already [Thirty-Something] and have had my [Growing Pains]. I think back through my [Wonder Years] and I'm certain this is my [Wheel of Fortune] which helps to feed [All My Children]. A party with me will deal you a [Full House] and bring you a [Dynasty]. There is no [Jeopardy], and you don't have to [Win, Lose, or Draw]. So be [Head of the Class] and hostess my next party. Simply invite [All in the Family], the [Honeymooners], and [Just the Ten of Us]. Give me [60 minutes] of your attention, and the rest of your evening will be [Cheers]!
That was easy, ladies, wasn't it? But, here's the catch. For every slash you made, write the name of a TV show I just read. The guest with the most correct TV shows wins!

HOUSEKEEPER’S GAME

Give me your attention – we’re going to play a game to see how good your housekeeping was today. Write down the numbers and keep your own score.
It’s five points if you swept or vacuumed your floor.
Count three more for each button you sewed.
For washing your clothes, add four for each load.
I hope you find this game LOTS of fun!
For now, subtract three if there’s ironing to be done.
You may now add five for brownies you baked.
Count four more if you baked a cake.
Count six if your dishes are washed by hand.
Take away four if you left the frying pan!
Add three more for each bed made.
For each bed unmade, a fine of two must be paid.
Seven more if you watered house plants today.
A bonus of six for toys put away.
Add them all up, there isn’t any more. Who’s the Happy Homemaker w/ the highest score?

Left Right Game

-This is a great way to start your party! Give one or two small gifts to two guests, and read the following story. Each time the word “left” or “right” is mentioned, they pass the gift in that direction. Whoever is left holding the gifts keeps them.

I left my house and was on my way to (___hostess’ name__) house. But I soon discovered I had left my directions at home, right by the phone! Well, I knew right away that I needed to have the right directions to (hostess’ name) house, so I turned left and I turned left and I turned right and made my way back to my house for the right directions. Sure enough, there they were, right where I had left them, right next to the phone.

Finally, I was on the right track. I arrived right on time and set up my HomeStudio right over here. You all arrived and sat down. I’m going to get right to work and tell you about (name of company). I hope nothing will be left out. In a moment I’ll show you a few of our beautiful products, and even help you choose your favorite scent in our new line of Bath & Body products. If you left home with the intention of shopping for gifts tonight, you’ll find we have the right gift for everyone. Think about upcoming birthdays and holidays, we don’t want anyone left out. I’d be happy to help you find the right gift for that special someone.

(name of company) has a -day return policy. When your merchandise comes in please check it right away. If something is not right please call me right away and you can be sure I will take care of it right away. You don’t want to be left with something you are not 100% satisfied with, right? If you’d like to be a hostess and earn FREE and discounted merchandise, or if this is the right time for you to explore joining.

I’m enjoying being here with all of you tonight and I hope you are having fun, too. I know you can’t wait to see if we have that special item you have been looking for, so without further delay I will get right to the point of this party , which is showing you our great products! So, there is really nothing left for me to do except congratulate the winner, right?

The Clothespin Game

As each guest arrives, hand him or her a clothespin. Tell them to attach it to themselves in an obvious spot, and each time they “catch” another guest crossing or uncrossing their legs through out the evening, they can “steal” that guest’s clothespin(s). This definitely keeps the Party from getting to “formal”. Whoever has collected the most clothespins at the end of your presentation gets a gift!

ALPHABET PURSE GAME

The person who gets the first answer to each letter gets drawing tickets or auction money. Don't use the whole alphabet at the same party.

Call out a letter of the alphabet and the first person to show you something from their purse or wallet representing
the letter wins.

A - ATM card, address book, appointment book, ad
B - Book, beeper, bill, bead, breath freshener, business card, brown, blue, blush
C - Checkbook, credit card, coupon, calendar, catalog, coupons, cell phone, chocolate
D - Date book, dollar, dime, drivers license
E - Eyeglasses, envelope, eye shadow, eyeliner
F - frame, family, fan
G - green, gloves, glasses, gum, grocery list
H - Hair bow, hairbrush, half-dollar
I - Invitation, identification
J - jewelry, JC Penny card
K - Key, key ring
L - lifesavers, license, lipstick, list
M - MasterCard, Maybeline, mint, makeup, mascara, money
N - Nickel, note, newspaper
O - Orange
P - Pink, photo, powder, pen, pencil, paper, pad, planner, phone book, penny, purple
Q - quarter R - rubber band, ring, red
S - stamp, snack, sugar, sears card, shopping list, sunglasses, Sunoco card
T - Tea, tablet, Texaco card, telephone
U - Ugly picture
V - visa card
W - wallet, wet-wipe, watch, wine colored something
X - Xeroxed copy
Y - Yellow
Z - Zipper

A variation of this game is for you to call out the item. If you do it this way make sure what you name is something that will be useful at the party: pen, address book, checkbook, credit card, datebook etc.
